A Final Today

Not much to say right now. I'm in the middle of studying for a class final so just a quickie before I hit the books again.

I have a class final for a life insurance agent license later tonight. Wish me luck! =)

Oh don't give me that look. I have a soul. I am not a death dealer.

I just want to make sure your loved ones don't have to worry about certain expenses if and when you pass on. It's not a bad thing. Can't be if so many people are looking into buying insurance anyway. Why would you insure your car but not your life?

And I need a pay check. Working on commission should be a good motivator.

Ciao, babes! =)

UPDATE: PASSED!
Up Next: State Exam...EEP!

  2. Debating being a teacher now...

a LOT less money but SUMMER'S OFF? Cant beat that... even if there is a 90,000 dollar pay difference lol.

Its like a whole new job over again each year too...cant beat that either. The same old shit gets MUNDANE. At least I get new students and new experiences each year...

They should up the pay...what does a typical teacher get paid these days?

  4. haha thanks. RED? that's only for a FAIL, dahling. And it's not that big a deal. I need to pass that State exam.

  5. Its apparently like 50 here in Ol' Georgy - and that's median. Dont know if you recall...but that was pretty much the only job offer I got from the Job Fairs lol- Southern Teachers Agency. I turned them down at the time but now its not looking so bad. Each day as I want to stab my eyes out from this job...realizing that I'm only in law for the money and that's not gonna keep me there for very long...

Just gotta do a post-bac which wouldn't be so bad- I could always teach English/Writing style courses (hopefully they dont read this blog as I'm not exactly speaking properly here lol). I love writing and reading and I did spend a lot of time critiquing papers @ Dartmouth! It could work...

  6. plus I dont want to be stabbed or called names by the bad kiddies in NYC. spoiled brats! lol

I would only do Private Schools (which is what the Southern Teachers Agency places for) so none of that Teach for America crap where I want to jump out of the window because theyve given me the worst kids imaginable (have heard nothing but bad from one of our 06 buds). Gotta be lucky with Teach for America...
